August Art AF"Fair" - 4 - 31 August

Art at the Duchess presents a special August Art Af'Fair' throughout the month of August.

Over 40 local artists will show work over the first three weeks. Each of the three weeks will feature an array of mixed work by fourteen or so artists on the ground and mezzanine floors of The Duchess of Cornwall Inn.

During the three weeks a number of the artists will be present on certain days offering further work including prints and cards. There will be a chance for visitors to select their favourite piece each week and be in with a chance of winning a super prize. From these votes the most selected artist will also win an award and remain featured during the final week amongst a special exhibition of Poundbury, Dorchester and Dorset photographic images by young local photographer Krisz Arquati.

The special summer event supports the charity nominated by the management of The Duchess which is currently The Lantern Trust.
