The Community Association of Poundbury/Love Poundbury is committed to transparent, ethical, and effective governance. This page outlines our leadership structure, constitution, and key policies that guide our operations.

The Community Association of Poundbury transitioned from the Poundbury Residents Association in March 2025, and was registered as a Community Interest Company in April 2025. Our summary articles can be found: Here

These articles are designed to be flexible, allowing for growth and development while adhering to the requirements of the CIC Regulator. They outline our structure, objectives, membership criteria, and decision-making processes.

Procedures for distributing funds generated through CAofP community membership donations and fundraising initiatives

Volunteer Code of Conduct, Benefits and Management Policy

Procedures for recruiting, training, and supporting our valuable volunteers.

Equality and Diversity Policy

Our commitment to promoting inclusivity and non-discrimination in all our activities.

Complaints Procedure

A clear process for addressing and resolving complaints from members or the public.

 

Environmental Sustainability Policy

Our commitment to minimizing our environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices.

 

Health and Safety Policy

Guidelines for ensuring safe conditions at our events and activities.

 

Whistleblowing Policy

Procedures for reporting concerns about misconduct or unethical behaviour within the organisation.

Virtual Hub Submission Policy

Procedures for submitting items for approval and publication on our Virtual Community Hub.

We are committed to regularly reviewing and updating these policies to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Full texts of these policies are available upon request.

Transparency and Accountability

 We are committed to maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability. We will:

  • Publish annual reports and financial statements

  • Hold regular open meetings for members

  • Provide clear channels for feedback and suggestions

  • Regularly review and update our governance practices
