About the event
This year's Art in Poundbury winter exhibition Bright and Beautiful will feature a soaring community art display.
A flock of 1,000 birds are being handmade in local schools, Dorchester Youth Club, Age UK, Weldmar Hospice and elderly living communities in Dorchester and the surrounding areas. Each bird carries a Bright and Beautiful message and they will fly together as a symbol of community and hope.
If you would like to add your own bird to the display, or to find out more about getting involved with Art in Poundbury, come along to our community art day. It's on 15 November from 10am to 2pm in the Jubilee Hall (at the back of the Poundbury Waitrose store). There is no need to book or to bring materials. Everyone is welcome.
