About the event

The countdown is on for the Dorset Food & Drink Winter Food Fair at Athelhampton House & Gardens! On Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th November from 10am - 3pm.

What to Expect:

A curated selection of over 60 stallholders, locally made food and drink- including many award-winning Dorset brands, Artisanal gifts, live music and tasty seasonal treats.

Get ahead with your festive gift list or gather inspiration for your Christmas table, all wrapped up in a superb setting. Most of the stalls are tucked inside our twinkly Winter Fair marquee emporium, with more to explore around the grounds. Keeping it local means you can get to know the people who make, bake, brew, cook, sew, grow, distill, craft, and create lovely things.

Shop ’til you drop with an irresistible array of seasonal delights. Browse local cheeses, craft ale and ciders, chilli sauces, preserves, cakes, savouries and hot food - including a traditional hog roast. You’ll also find coffee, wines, charcuterie, game, spirits, confectionery, homewares, art, leather goods, handmade gifts, crafts and stocking fillers to suit every budget.

Live music from Blue Bridge along with Barbara Gasior & Aaron Carter, will serenade you over the weekend. Plus, festival favourites Doctor Jazz will add their signature smooth sound to the entertainment line-up.

Tickets:

Take advantage of ‘early bird tickets.’ £5 per person. Under 12’s FREE. Pre book online and get a 1/3 off on the gate price. (£7.50)

Book via the Athelhampton website - this way it gives Dorset Food & Drink a better idea of how many people are coming, so their lovely stallholders have enough goodies for you.

Dorset Food & Drink Coordinator Caz Richards said: “As the festive season approaches, we’re encouraging people to shop locally and sustainably- supporting producers right on their doorstep. Whether it’s a small treat or a standout artisan gift, we hope visitors enjoy meeting the makers, discovering new products, and stocking up on their favourites”.

Caz continues: “Most stallholders accept card payments, but with occasional Wi-Fi issues, having some cash to hand is a good idea. It promises to be a fantastic weekend, and we hope you’ll come along and enjoy it with us!”.
