Poundbury's Easter Market Returns to Crown Square This Sunday!

Crown Square is lovely in springtime—and this Sunday 29th March it is going to be even more special. Poundbury's popular Easter Market returns, bringing together the best of local crafts, delicious food, and the kind of warm community spirit that makes Poundbury special.

Whether you are a long-standing regular or discovering the market for the very first time, come hungry, come curious, and come ready to enjoy yourself!

Charlotte Jackson, the market organiser, can't wait: "We're delighted to be hosting the 12th Poundbury Easter Egg Hunt! We're so excited to welcome back all our amazing stallholders for another brilliant Easter Market in Crown Square—and we've got some wonderful new additions joining us this year too. We're incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a supportive, vibrant community, and we can't wait to celebrate together this Sunday. Here's to another magical Easter in Poundbury!"

A Bustling Marketplace

Crown Square will be filled with stalls showcasing crafts, seasonal food, sweet treats, and a wonderful array of makers and creators who have made this market a highlight of the Poundbury calendar year after year. It is the perfect opportunity to pick up something beautiful, something delicious, or something entirely unexpected, all while soaking up the atmosphere of Poundbury in the spring.

This year also welcomes some wonderful new stallholders to the fold, adding fresh flavours and fresh faces to an already brilliant line-up. Expect to browse, taste and be tempted!

The 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

A family favourite, the Easter Egg Hunt kicks off at 12 noon, starting at Boo's Toy Shop. Little ones can follow the trail, track down their chocolatey prizes and make memories that will last long after the last egg has been found. It has been a cherished tradition for over a decade, and this year promises to be as exciting as ever.

Free Creative Sessions with Art in Poundbury

Art in Poundbury will be joining the festivities with free children's creative sessions—a wonderful chance for young imaginations to run wild. Using a multitude of Easter-themed crafting materials, children can get hands-on and create their very own colourful Easter basket to take home. It is inclusive, joyful, and completely free.

Special Guests in the Afternoon

Keep your eyes peeled during the afternoon—we understand that there will be some very special guests to add an extra sprinkle of Easter magic. We are intrigued and can't wait to find out who they are!
