Poundbury Pathfinders Walking Groups - Thursdays

Short Walks Group (4 to 5 mile) Meet once a fortnight on a Thursday morning at 9.30am at Whitecross Square, Poundbury.

Longer Walks Group (6 to 9 miles) meet every Thursday morning at 9am at Saltash Place Car Park, Poundbury.

Purpose To promote health, wellness and social interaction through walking.

We are an informal group of walkers who meet to walk the countryside paths of (mainly) West Dorset. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge.

At the meeting point, to reduce car use, we arrange car sharing to the start point.

The short walks group usually end their walk with a pre-arranged pub lunch (not compulsory).

Whilst the longer walks group will stop for a flask of coffee midway along the walk.

A programme of future walks is produced every 4 months which can be obtained by contacting the organisers below and which is emailed to members.
