The First AGM of the Community Association of Poundbury — Join Us on 21 May!

Just over a year ago, the community of Poundbury voted to build something new. On Thursday 21 May, 6–8pm at Damers Hall, we invite CAofP members to celebrate what we've built together—and help shape what comes next.

Our first Annual General Meeting is open to CAofP members only. It will cover our first full year—the milestones, the numbers, and the stories behind them—along with our Year 1 financial report and formal AGM business, including a members' vote to confirm Sue and Jerry Cooke as directors, appointed by the Board this year to help meet our growing needs. And of course, Poundbury Good Things will be on sale, with a hamper raffle too!

The centrepiece of the evening is our Stakeholder Q&A Panel—a format developed over the past year to give the community a direct voice with the people who make decisions about life in Poundbury. We'll have representatives from Dorset Council, Dorchester Town Council, the Duchy of Cornwall, the police, local businesses and community organisations all in the room and ready to address questions.

To help the panel prepare useful answers, we will gather questions in advance. Please send your questions to chair@lovepoundbury.org by 12 May. We'll consolidate them for the panel, and any we can't reach on the night will be answered and published on the Virtual Community Hub in due course.
