About the event

Just a month to go now until we bring together a fabulous array of top garden specialists for you to informally meet and ask advice from while enjoying complimentary refreshments or browsing a lovely selection of stalls at The Grange by kind permission of Kate and Geoffrey Guy. From Chelsea and Hampton Court Gold medal winners, to the expertise of organic gardening from Highgrove, to garden design, dahlias and vegetables. Our specialists will be there all morning for you to quiz to your hearts content! There will also be an opportunity to buy a signed copy of Marian’s book, The Kindest Garden.
The morning will be followed by a bubbly reception with canapes kindly sponsored by Porter Dodson and a Summer lunch of salmon tart or a gluten free spinach and feta pie, hot buttered new potatoes with mint and parsley, rainbow Summer coleslaw, tomato and cucumber, olive, feta, avocado and basil salad, followed by Summer fruit Eton mess or cheese and biscuits and coffee. Thank you too, to Symonds and Sampson for their support.
Our guest speaker is Marian Boswall, a leading landscape architect and organic horticulturalist, former lecturer in Historic Garden Conservation at Greenwich University and co-founder of The Sustainable Landscape Foundation as well as author of The Kindest Garden.
Talented rose specialist Emily Cave of Rosa Cheney is kindly decorating the tables with roses and Summer flowers, which will be available to take home from each table in a bespoke ceramic pot in return for a donation to The Talk About Trust, and there will be a short auction of promises (see some detail below!) conducted by Dukes auctioneers. This wonderful day, held in aid of the Talk About Trust, is just £55 per person. You can book here Gardeners Delight or email kate@talkabouttrust.org
