Tree String Festival - 3rd to 5th July

Tree of Strings is a new charitable project grounded in the landscapes and communities of the South West. We produce a programme of world-class music performances and educational events across the year, starting in 2026.

We are excited to welcome you to our first festival, held over three days in the historic and picturesque village of Abbotsbury in Dorset. We bring together talented young musicians and established stars of classical, jazz and folk music, from 3 to 5 July.

The programme is designed for ‘total immersion', with different flavours over 15 events, in and around the stunning Tithe Barn. We have kept the cost of tickets as low as we can and recommend discounted single and three-day passes as excellent value. Our work connects emerging and established musicians through concerts and school projects, beginning with our three-day festival in Abbotsbury this July.

At a time when provision for music is shrinking, we exist to give children more access, nurture young talent and inspire new audiences.
