Winter Art Exhibition - Bright and Beautiful on 22nd to 30th November

The annual Art in Poundbury winter exhibition is returning. The theme is bright and beautiful and it’s going to be better than ever.

Showcasing the work of local artists, it brings together a bright and beautiful collection of paintings, prints, wood, glass, textiles, sculpture and cards. It’s free to come and view the work and most of it is available to buy. With prices ranging from just £3 to £3000, there is something for every taste and budget.

At the heart of the exhibition is a stunning community art display – a flock of 1,000 birds made in local schools, Dorchester Youth Club, Age UK, Weldmar Hospice and elderly living communities in Dorchester and the surrounding areas. Each bird carries a Bright and Beautiful message and they will fly together as a symbol of community and hope.

The Tiny Art Gallery in Portland is a thing of beauty and it will be visiting our winter exhibition. Tiny artworks will be for sale in aid of Arts in Hospital which encourages wellbeing and healing through art. Buy your own unique artwork and support a great cause.
