Join Dorchester Choral Society to start your Christmas celebrations at our winter concert on Saturday 6th December 2025 starting a 7.30pm in St Mary's Church, Edward Road, Dorchester DT1 2HL.
The first half features Duruflé's wonderful, melodic and ethereal Requiem. After an interval for mulled wine and mince pies, the choir will sing a selection of Christmas music – some lesser known carols and Vaughan Williams' joyous Fantasia on Christmas Carols.
The concert will be conducted by the choir's Director of Music, Duncan Emerson, with professional soloists Sophia Brumfitt (Mezzo-Soprano), Samuel Mitchell (Baritone), John Carnelley (Organ), Sally Flann ('cello).
Tickets cost £20.00 for reserved seats in the nave or £15.00 for unreserved seats in the side aisles. Under 18s have free entry. Booking fees are additional. Tickets can be purchased in advance via www.dorchesterchoralsociety.org or on the night.
