Poundbury Good Things will once again be joining the Dorset Farmers' Market at Queen Mother Square this Saturday, 23rd May, from 9am until 1pm — and we're looking forward to another lovely morning meeting residents, visitors, and fellow stallholders in the heart of Poundbury.

The Farmers' Market is always a wonderful opportunity for us to catch up with familiar faces, introduce people to our latest collections, and share the stories behind the artwork and products that make up the Poundbury Good Things range. As ever, every purchase helps support local community initiatives and projects, which remains at the heart of everything we do.
Alongside our greetings cards, mini wooden jigsaws, ceramics and jewellery, we'll also be bringing a selection of our popular bags — practical, sustainable, and designed to celebrate the character and charm of Poundbury.

Our canvas shoppers have become favourites with many regular customers. Strong, sturdy and smart, they're made from heavyweight 100% cotton canvas and are ideal for everything from market shopping to everyday errands. They've proved particularly useful on Farmers' Market mornings, offering a stylish and reusable alternative to plastic bags while carrying plenty of local produce home.

We'll also have our lightweight tote bags available, featuring Mary O'Flaherty's original design inspired by local landmarks, wildlife, and nature. Printed using eco-friendly, water-based inks, the totes are easy to fold away into a pocket or handbag and are perfect to keep on hand for everyday use. Many customers also use them as thoughtful gift bags that can be enjoyed again and again long after the present inside has been opened.
With summer approaching and more community events appearing in the calendar, it feels like the perfect time to rediscover some of these practical favourites. Whether you're heading to the beach, browsing local shops, or simply enjoying a walk around Poundbury, a reliable canvas shopper or lightweight tote always comes in handy.
We've been delighted by the support and encouragement the community continues to show Poundbury Good Things, and it's always a pleasure hearing which designs and products people connect with most. Conversations at the market often inspire future ideas and collections, so do come along and share your thoughts with us.
If you're visiting the Dorset Farmers' Market this Saturday, please stop by and say hello. We'd love to see you.
