The closing date of this Sunday 26th April for the "Love Poundbury: Through Your Lens" photography competition is almost here so this weekend is your final chance to enter that photo you've been thinking about.

We are delighted that the competition will be judged by accomplished professional photographers Jamie Clarke, Chris Frost and Jane Norman who bring decades of combined experience, distinctive creative perspectives, and a genuine appreciation for what makes a photograph truly stand out.
But you don't need to be a professional photographer. You don't need a fancy camera. You don't even need experience. All you need is your perspective and, who knows, your snapshot could be the winning image.
Whether it's a favourite street, a quiet moment, a burst of spring colour, or simply something that catches your eye on a walk this weekend — your photo is worth sharing. Many of the most powerful images are often the simplest, taken in the moment, on a phone.
The categories are:
Architecture & Urban Design, sponsored by CG Fry & Son Builders
Landscapes & Natural Beauty, sponsored by Rolls Landscaping
Community & Everyday Life, sponsored by The Duchess of Cornwall Inn
Creative Perspectives, sponsored by Minuteman Press Poundbury
Youth Category for 16–18-year-olds, sponsored by The Duchy of Cornwall
Entering couldn't be easier.
Just £2 for one photo, £5 for three. Submit online at www.lovepoundbury.org/through-your-lens
Our entry form is quick and straightforward to complete, taking just a couple of minutes. No complicated steps — just upload your photo and you're in.
Win prizes up to £100 plus a large canvas print of your winning photograph. See your work professionally framed and exhibited at the Duchess of Cornwall Inn from 8-21 June. Celebrate your creativity at our awards ceremony on 8 June. Some of the entries could also appear in a calendar that the Community Association are considering issuing later this year!
And remember, all entry fees go to the Lexi May Trust, so you are supporting a very worthy cause.
