Find Your Place in the Community

The Community Association of Poundbury welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds and availability. Whether you're ready to join a major project or just have a few spare hours, there's a meaningful way for you to contribute.

As an example one of our residents brought to our attention that a bench in Bridport Road was in a sorry state. A couple of our volunteers helped to renovate the bench, with CAoP providing the cost of the staining.

CAoP are speaking to the Duchy and Dorchester Town Council regarding the status of other benches throughout Poundbury, and we hope to have an update in due course.

There are lots of things that volunteers can do to improve Poundbury for our residents. Right now, the Association is particularly looking for a leader for the Photography Competition they hope to launch, but anyone is welcome to join us.
