Flying High with Poundbury Good Things

There's something rather fitting about Poundbury Good Things taking part in the very first Let's Go Fly! Kite Festival this June — not simply because we'll have a stall there, but because the event itself will be taking place on The Great Field, right at the heart of the Poundbury community we're so proud to support.
On Saturday 6th June, The Great Field will be filled with colour, creativity and giant kites soaring overhead as families gather for this exciting new community festival. Alongside the displays, activities and market stalls, visitors will also find Poundbury Good Things sharing some of our latest collections and community fundraising work.
As always, every purchase made at our stall directly supports local community initiatives, helping us continue our work celebrating Poundbury while giving something meaningful back to the area. Our current fundraising focus is the programme of activities held at the Pavilion in the Park, which continues to provide an important and welcoming community space for local residents throughout the year.

We'll also be bringing along some exciting new additions to the Poundbury Good Things collection. Among them are our brand new mini wooden jigsaws featuring All-Weather Friends, a charming new design that we're very excited to introduce. The new artwork celebrates companionship, community and the joy of sharing life's moments together — values that sit very much at the heart of everything we do.

Alongside the jigsaws, we'll also be unveiling a limited-edition collection of framed prints featuring the latest artworks in our Landmarks of Poundbury series. These new pieces continue Mary O'Flaherty's distinctive celebration of the community, character and atmosphere that make Poundbury such a special place to live and visit. We're looking forward to sharing them for the first time at the festival.
Of course, we'll also have many of our familiar favourites available too, including greetings cards, ceramics, jewellery, candles and bags — all inspired by the local area and created with community in mind.

One of the loveliest parts of attending local events is the opportunity to meet people face to face, hear their stories, and discover which designs and products resonate most with them. Conversations at community events often inspire future ideas and collections, and every event reminds us just how supportive and encouraging the Poundbury community continues to be.
So while the kites may provide the spectacle overhead, we're very much looking forward to spending the day meeting visitors, sharing a little Good Things magic, and celebrating another wonderful community event in Poundbury.
