Gardeners Wanted

Looking for a way to make a difference while enjoying the outdoors? Damers First School is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join its friendly team of gardeners!

The school garden is a vital part of the Damers pupils' learning, offering them hands-on opportunities to explore and connect with the natural world. Thanks to the hard work of current volunteers, they already have a range of fruit and vegetables thriving in raised beds. It's an exciting time to get involved and help continue the progress in this inspiring space.

Whether you're a keen gardener or just enjoy being outside and getting your hands dirty, Damers would love to hear from you. Volunteering is not only rewarding, but it's also a chance to share knowledge, meet new people, and inspire the next generation of green-thumbed learners.

The team meets on Tuesday afternoons during term time, so if you can spare just a little time each week, you'll can nurture young minds and the garden they grow in!
