Love Poundbury Through Your Lens: Thank You For All The Entries!

We're delighted with the response to our first-ever Love Poundbury Through Your Lens competition: 140 entries from photographers across Poundbury and beyond exceeded our hopes for a pilot year, especially considering established photography competitions typically draw 50-70 entries per event.
The quality of submissions has been outstanding, and our judges have a genuinely difficult task ahead. This strong foundation gives us tremendous momentum for making this an annual celebration of Poundbury's creativity. Thank you to everyone who entered, and to our sponsors who made this possible.
Now the judges get to work. Jane Norman, Chris Frost, and Jamie Clark are reviewing every entry across the five categories—Architecture & Urban Design, Landscapes & Natural Beauty, Community & Everyday Life, Creative Perspectives, and Youth—looking for creativity, originality, and photographs that capture something truly special about Poundbury. It's quite a task, and we're enormously grateful for their time and expertise.
What happens next:
Winners and commendations will be announced on Monday 8 June, followed by an exhibition at the Duchess of Cornwall Inn running 8–21 June, where the best photographs will be printed, framed, and available to purchase—with proceeds supporting the Lexi May Trust.
There will also be a People's Choice Award: during the exhibition, visitors can vote for their favourite photograph by picking up a voting slip at the Duchess. The photograph that receives the most votes wins the People's Choice Award—well-deserved extra kudos for that photographer. And everyone who votes is in with a chance: one visitor's name will be drawn from all the voting slips to win a Poundbury Good Things hamper plus a £25 gift voucher for the Duchess of Cornwall Inn. Both winners will be announced on 22 June after the close of the exhibition.
And please look out for a special reveal on 8 June: a photo mosaic in which every single entry becomes a tile in one large, iconic Poundbury image, every perspective contributing to the bigger picture.
You don't need to have entered to come and enjoy the exhibition or vote. More details to follow!
So keep an eye on our 'Through Your Lens' page
Many thanks to our Sponsors for their ongoing support for the competition:
