More Buses, Less Waiting!

Your local bus services are being improved, making it easier and more convenient to get around.

More Frequent No 10 at Weekends
Starting this September, the No. 10 Bus will run every 15 minutes on Saturdays—
matching its Monday to Friday schedule. Sunday services will also see a boost, running every 20 minutes instead of every 30. That's three buses an hour instead of two!
Future Plans for the X51
The X51 route to Bridport and Axminster is under review for a potential improved schedule in 2026, as the current timetable is inadequate. This could make inter-town travel even smoother for Dorset residents and workers.
Town councillor William Gibbons, who is your new Bus representative on the Dorchester Transport Action Group (DTAG), said, "These service improvements are very welcome as frequency is a most important factor for Poundbury residents."
