New X51 Winter Bus timetable for Poundbury residents

Councillor William Gibbons has advised us that the new Winter Timetable for the X51 will be introduced from Sunday 20th September until May 2027

First Bus will operate seven services a day in each direction, approx every two hours Monday to Friday and six services on Saturday.

Please note there is no X51 service on Sundays.  As a result on Sundays the number 10 will continue to run every 20 minutes via Peverell Avenue East and West.

The number 6 will continue with its service every 30 minutes to Dorchester South station Monday to Saturday

Cllr William Gibbons said ‘ The Dorchester Transport Action Group ( DTAG) have persuaded First Bus to continue to run the number 10 via the heart of Poundbury every 20 minutes on Sundays. Passenger numbers are low and continue to disappoint. It really is important to  “Use it or lose  it ‘‘ if travelling to the town centre or onto Weymouth. No worries about car parking!
