Following the tremendous success of the inaugural Love Poundbury - Through Your Lens photography competition, the Community Association of Poundbury and Art at the Duchess are already looking ahead and inviting photographers to start capturing images for next year's event.

The competition attracted a wonderful collection of photographs celebrating the beauty, character and community spirit of Poundbury throughout the seasons. From stunning landscapes and architecture to wildlife, local events and everyday moments, the quality and diversity of entries exceeded all expectations.

If you are hoping to enter the next competition, now is the perfect time to start building your portfolio. Throughout the remainder of 2026, do keep your camera or phone close at hand and capture Poundbury in every season — spring blossoms, summer events, autumn colours and winter scenes. Every photograph could become a future competition entry and help showcase our town from a unique perspective.

Building on this year's success, we are delighted to tell you that a selection of the outstanding photographs from the 2026 competition is being transformed into a range of quality 2027 calendars and postcards. These will be available for purchase at the Love Poundbury stall at various local events, with proceeds helping to support community causes.
