Virtual Community Hub Submission Guidelines

We welcome your news and events for the Virtual Community Hub! To keep our community space informative and inclusive, we ask all submissions to follow these guidelines:

Content we welcome:

• Community activities, events, and gatherings

• Volunteer opportunities and charitable initiatives

• Cultural celebrations and artistic events

• Local business announcements and openings

• Educational programs and workshops

  
  

Submission standards:

• Content must be relevant to Poundbury or the greater Dorchester area

• Information should be accurate and up-to-date

• Language must be respectful and appropriate for all community members

• Event details should include dates, times, locations, costs, and contact information

• Please include a relevant image for your article where possible

  
  

We cannot accept:

• Content containing discriminatory language related to race, gender, religion, ability, age, or sexual orientation

• Overtly political or partisan messaging or campaigning

• Material primarily designed to promote commercial products without community benefit

• Information that could be harmful, misleading, or offensive to community members

  
  

Our editorial team reviews all submissions to ensure they meet these guidelines. We may edit or decline content that doesn't align with our community values of respect, inclusivity, and helpfulness.
