We're delighted that Ben Pentreath, one of Britain's most distinguished voices in traditional architecture, will be our keynote speaker at the Community Association of Poundbury's inaugural General Meeting - and he has agreed to a special book signing session beforehand!
About Ben Pentreath
After studying at the University of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture, Ben founded his practice in 2004 and is co-founder of Pentreath & Hall, one of London's most distinctive interiors shops. He has authored several acclaimed books, including his latest bestseller An English Vision, which features Poundbury prominently. In 2023, he received the prestigious Richard H.
Driehaus Prize - making him one of the youngest ever recipients of this distinguished architecture award. Splitting his time between London, West Dorset, and Scotland, Ben brings both professional expertise and genuine local connection.
His vision for Poundbury
Ben's keynote, "Poundbury and Its Significance," will explore why our community is special and how thoughtful design fosters strong community spirit.
