Members' Afternoon Tea: A Wonderful Afternoon at Bowes Lyon Court

On Wednesday 3 June, we hosted our first Members' Afternoon Tea, a recap of our Annual General Meeting, designed for those who find evening events tricky to attend.

It was a full house, and what a lovely afternoon it turned out to be, with cake and biscuits too! We're enormously grateful to the manager at Bowes Lyon Court for so warmly welcoming us, and to volunteer Kay Kay, whose helpful coordination made the event run beautifully.
The gathering had a wonderfully convivial atmosphere, with members asking thoughtful questions and offering suggestions that will genuinely help shape the work of the Association. It was a real reminder of how much energy and goodwill there is in this community.
Events like this matter to us. We want CAofP to be accessible to as many members as possible. We're delighted to tell you that we plan to run a similar daytime event following our General Meeting on 7 October. More details will follow in due course.
If you have thoughts on how we can make future events even more welcoming, we'd love to hear from you.
