If you've walked through Queen Mother Square recently, you'll have noticed our stunning new Christmas tree, thanks to the Duchy of Cornwall. It’s a beautiful focal point for us as we begin our festive season. And there’s a great deal happening across Poundbury and the surrounding area this Christmas. Whether you're after festive markets, carols, crafts, or family fun, there's something to suit most tastes.

Starting This Weekend
November 28th, all are welcome to Crown Square from 6:15-6:45pm for the Christmas light switch-on, where another lovely tree will come to life. Thanks to Morrish Homes for donating this.
The Christmas Market in Crown Square and the Castle View Christmas Fayre are on tomorrow 29th November from 10-4pm, with local stalls and festive fare. And you might like to go on to the Advent Carol Service at St Peter’s or the Christmas lights switch on in Dorchester afterwards.
If you haven’t yet visited Art in Poundbury's Bright and Beautiful Art Exhibition at Jubilee Hall or Art at the Duchess, both run until 30th November, so there’s still time!
Kingston Maurward's Christmas festivities also start tomorrow, Saturday 29th November, and continue on weekends and until 23rd December.
Places for People are hosting Bauble Making with Quirky Calligraphy on Thursday 4th December from 12.00-3.30pm at Plot 458 (100 Peninsula Way), please contact them to register.
The Christmas Quiz Night at Brownsword Hall is on 5th December, and the Christmas Raffle at the Sanctuary of Poundbury runs until December 20th.
Dorset Museum’s Great Christmas Pudding Hunt has begun and runs until 31st December.
So much to do! What will you choose? More festive events will be highlighted next week.
