The Family Behind the Business

The business name came from an unlikely source. "Nearly 20 years ago I attended a Zoopla seminar," Damian explains, "where someone talked about how 'double o' brands perform well online. The idea stuck with me. I always knew I'd start my own company one day - and when I did, it would be called Igloo."

The team has grown considerably since launch in 2020. Tom, Cohen, and Will have all joined at the start of their careers, working through qualifications with mentorship from the more experienced advisers. Then there's Chris - 40 years in the industry, "the father figure of the team, always ready with wise advice, reassurance, or occasionally the straight talk someone needs!"
